Highland Falls Middle School Reviews

The school building was updated and it looks really nice, but now we're on an austerity budget. We have no drama, no money for band instruments, and classes need new textbooks. All our moneys used on security cameras, but kids really just need someone to talk to. I don't know how else to say this but we need help. (some awesome teachers like mrs.mac, mrs.ferrarra, miss.l, mrsking, & mrs.constable)

awsome school and miss it so much

The principal doesn't care about the 8th grade. 7th grade and us shared the same math, english, and Social Studies teacher. A month into the year they made the math teacher only teach the 7th grade, and they gave the 8th grade a new math teacher that most of us don't like. Now in the middle of the year they are going to make the english teacher teach the 7th grade only and give us a new teacher, and we are going to have our sceduals changed. Sometimes change isn't good. Last year, in the 7th grade, we had a first time math teacher, and a first time english teacher. We also had more refurals than two of the other grades combined. We need good teachers and all the help we can get. I think the principal doesn't care about us and thinks we are hopeless.
