Some teachers are incredible and a few coast (it is a union even though it says union-free). Not crazy about Everyday Math, we supplement at home. KES is an amazing school. It feels like a private school. The teachers and principal/v.p. are very professional with a real focus on education. It's a terrific place where the teachers treat their students like their own children. They will 'jump through hoops' to make a child feel comfortable in school thus creating an environment that promotes success in school. The person who wrote the comment about a 'half day' program most certainly is someone who's only looking for a place to dump their 5-year-old child all day. Just hire a babysitter if you don't want to be with your child! The teachers care more about how they dress than about your kids. You will end up teaching your own child on your own time because he/she most certainly will not be learning in the classroom. Save your tax $$, don't move to Lewisboro. The entire district is more interested in securing funding for their 'special programs' than about real education. You have been warned.”
